Alive or Dead we belong to the LORD (Rm 14:8)
Handmaids of Grace, Witnesses of Divine Love.

Daughters of Divine Grace
The Daughters of Divine Grace is a vibrant monastery of Catholic religious nuns called to live a life of radical discipleship in response to the love of Jesus Christ. We are captivated by the truth of His Word and commit ourselves wholly to Him through a life of prayer, fraternity, penance, and the proclamation of the Gospel.
Daughters of Divine Grace are a community of consecrated women who are called to live a life of radical discipleship in response to the boundless love of Jesus Christ. We seek to follow Jesus Christ, as a prophetic witness that our life is a pilgrimage to the Father in Heaven, through our lives of prayer, penance, fraternity, simplicity, and preaching the Word of God, led by His Spirit. We’ve decided to leave behind what the world offers to give our whole lives to God by professing vows of obedience, chastity, and poverty. And as a daughter of Divine Grace we also vow to witness the Word of God until our last breath.
Core Mission:
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched, this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. ( 1 Jn 1: 1) Experiencing the Risen Lord and following His commands, we strive to relive the spirit of the Early Church radically. We are rooted in the Oriental monastic tradition following the Carmelite and Benedictine spiritualities.

Charism and Vows:
Our life is guided by the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience. These vows reflect our total consecration to God and our commitment to live as witnesses of His Word until our last breath.
- Poverty: Embracing simplicity and detachment from material possessions to rely fully on God’s providence and being content.
- Chastity: Offering our hearts entirely to Christ, loving Him above all and serving others with purity of heart.
- Obedience: Surrendering our will to God’s will communicated directly or through the human mediums or life situations, guided by the filial trust in God.
- Proclamation of the Word of God: A deepenedcommitment to preach and live the Word of God as a testimony to His transformative love.
Spiritual Focus:
Why become a monk, If not to be a saint? Through prayer and monastic life, God in his abundant love sanctifies a monk to sanctify the whole world in Him. (cf. Jn 17: 19) We detach ourselves from all the worldly desires to unite ourselves to God alone. The real source that devotes us to this purgation and unification is the intimacy with God.
Our prayer life is liturgical, contemplative, ascetical, and Marian, centered on the Bread of Life – the Word and the Body of Christ. Through prayer, we deepen our relationship with the Holy Trinity and receive the grace to radiate His love to the world.

Our Founder
- Biography of Rev. Fr. Dominic Valanmanal:
Fr. Dominic Valanmanal, a diocesan priest with a burning passion for God and His Church, is the visionary founder of the Daughters of Divine Grace. Guiding Charisms
May 2018 marks a timeline of Heaven’s plan to begin a Youth movement for World Evangelization- ‘Missionaries of Grace’ by Rev. Fr. Valanmanal Dominic. And from this many youths were inspired and attracted to a life of prayer, intimacy with God, faith in Word of God and asceticism illumined in Our Founder. They waited long to discern this attraction of Heavenly Father (cf. Jn 6:44,65) and finally open their hearts to share this inspiration with Fr. Dominic. Meanwhile, God has been inspiring Rev. Father to found a community radically following Christ and His Word for many long years. In the following years many youths of missionaries of Grace joined in on this journey of Grace. We were guided to proceed this divine aspiration by approaching the Eparchial Bishop of Kanjirapally, Mar Jose Pulickal. After many discernments and meetings the Church finally approved this community as a Public Association of Christian Faithful in view of becoming a Monastery Sui Iuris on June 13, 2022. The decree of erection marks the beginning of a beautiful plan of God.
